Special Consideration Support

Inclusive -  Smaller Room -  Extra Time -   Reader

To support children who may need or have Special Consideration requirements, MTT are extending its helping hand by offering additional services providing a smaller room with extra time and specialised staff to meet individual student’s needs.

PLEASE READ DETIALS BELOW.

MTT will provide:

  • a separate small room with dedicated staff.
  • extra time – 25% longer than the standard time (12mins 30 secs)
  • discreet special arrival arrangements.

Reader

Where a reader is required, please contact MTT to discuss.  As this service requires a dedicated resource, MTT will have to pass on the cost of additional staff to parents wishing to take up this service.

Unsure about additional support.

Where a child is not currently receiving additional support and parents are unsure if their child would benefit from this service, parents should book a standard test and write a note in the comments box. One of the MTT team will make contact to discuss requirements.

SW Herts Registration Portal

The SW Herts Consortium registration opens on the 8th of April. Parents will need to open an account and register their child to take the tests. Where a child usually receives extra time or special support in class, parents must seek a letter of confirmation from the school (SENco / Headteacher) which must be uploaded by the 14th of June. To register visit:

MTT are not able to respond to emails or phone calls to offer individual feedback.

Terms and Conditions apply.

Special Consideration Events are not included in the standard MTT book 3 discount.

Spaces are booked on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability.

MTT may wish to contact parents to gain an understanding of a child’s requirements before the event.

MTT may recommend attending a standard mock test instead, allowing children to gain the full experience.

Children are monitored and observed throughout each event. MTT observe, test / time management and wellbeing.
