Mock Transfer Tutoring offer the following tutoring services to help parents to support their child in preparing for the secondary transfer tests.  

Tutors – all of our tutors are qualified teachers with experience of teaching year 4 and 5 children. They work as associates of Mock Transfer Tests following a proven programme of study covering VR and Maths in preparation for the SW Herts / 11+ tests.

Tutors are supported by a TA in classes, offering additional support to students.

Spaces are limited due to the high demand for places, therefore we have to allocate spaces on a first come, first served basis and all are subject to availability.

A deposit will be requested to secure a place. This will be non-refundable and deducted from the full cost of the classes at the end of the agreed contract period.

One2One-Online - £37.50/£45.00 per class (+books) (Limited spaces)

• Online lessons, fully interactive , for those students wishing to study at home.
• The aim of these classes is to offer an alternative to attending a class, helping parents who have to juggle after school activities, drop off and pick up, offering a class in the comfort of your own home.
   

Standard Class - £28.50 per class (+books)

• Year 5   MTT Hall, Chalk Hill     Tuesday           4.45pm – 5.45pm
• Year 5   MTT Hall, Chalk Hill      Thursday         5.15pm - 6.15pm  Fully booked
• Year 4  MTT Hall, Chalk Hill      Wednesday    4. 45pm - 5.45pm
• Year 4  MTT Hall, Chalk Hill      Thursday         4.00pm - 5.00pm

Accelerated Class - £37.50 per class (+books)

• Year 5  Queens' School             Wednesday     5.15pm – 6.45pm

• Accelerated Learning classes  aimed at students who show a higher than average aptitude for both VR & Maths.
• This class will work at a higher, level.

After School Clubs - £24.50 / £27.50 per class*

• Held at various schools, offering classes at school at discounted rates. If your school would be interested in discussing an After School Club, please get in touch.

• Please note that only children attending these schools is permitted to attend.

Payment Terms

Our payment terms are:

• Standard - Pay per term in advance. Payment via bank transfer, or card. 
• Bronze service pack - fixed monthly payment covering classes and books. payment via direct debit. 
• Silver service pack - fixed monthly payment covering classes, books, and 3 mock tests, plus other benefits
• Gold service pack - fixed monthly payment, covering classes, books, 4 mock tests, summer revision, plus other benefits.

Class rates are based on a commitment to a minimum of one school term

* After School club rates may vary depending on the commercial agreement with each school

** where a student moves from Yr4 to Yr5, costs will be adjusted for the Starter Packs
