Revision & Preparation Sessions
The Revision & Preparation sessions provide your child with the opportunity to experience a test environment. It will build their confidence while helping to reduce their nerves and the anxiety of sitting in a formal test without the worry of the consequences of getting it wrong.
Primarily aimed at children entering Year 6 in September, who will be taking the actual test.
The sessions are aimed at blowing away the summer holiday cobwebs to get your child up to speed and back on track ready for the actual secondary transfer tests in September. These fast pace interactive sessions are bespoke and cover common errors made by the current cohort when sitting MTT VR & Maths tests.
The sessions will take place every day for 4 mornings at the end of the school holidays, prior to the children going back to school in September. Each session will consist of:
- interactive fast pace sessions.
- useful tips and tricks. Test techniques.
- a 45/ 50 minute abridged mock test.
- a short break
- papers will be self-marked in class to provide instant feedback.
- Clarification and guidance will be provided where required.
There will be different sessions covering Verbal Reasoning and Maths (See dates for details)
Please note that clarifications will only cover an overview of methods, we cannot provide detailed tutoring at this stage. Parents may book as many sessions as they wish.
Fees
The cost of these sessions is £49.50 per day. 10% discount is offered on 3 or more bookings.
