Mock Transfer Tests prides itself on its tutors, only engaging qualified teachers who are DBS (CRB) certified and have experience of tutoring for the secondary transfer and 11+ tests .(Common entrance exams)

Gill Filer B.Ed (Hons) QTS

Tutor

 

Gill is a qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience of both state and independent sector and is currently working in schools in Hertfordshire. She has worked with all primary age ranges and helped many children with verbal reasoning and maths in preparation for the SW Herts Consortium Test (Secondary transfer test).

 

Gill has experience of helping children by building their confidence and equipping them with the right approach to tackle the tests.

 

 

 

Music Teacher 

 

Our Music teacher is a qualified music teacher. She is currently teaching in local schools both state and independent. 

 

She is very happy to be part of the team and comes with a wealth of knowledge and advice of what is involved in the Secondary Transfer process.

 

 

Tutors

We are pleased to be working with a number of experienced tutors, offering One2One sessions, small groups and after school classes.  All our tutors are qualified teachers with experience of supporting children prepare for the SW Herts test.

 

Tutor Assistants 

Our experienced tutor assistants support tutors, in our group sessions and after school classes.

We work with local tutors, providing feedback to aid future development based on test results and assessment. If you already have a tutor for your child, we would be pleased to work with them.

Andrew Filer

Operational support

 

Andrew has a wide range of experience in the corporate world, working in both private and public sectors. Andrew is actively involved in the community and served for 4 years as a governor in a local primary school. He is curently governor at a local Secondary School. He successfully helped coach both his children when they were preparing for the secondary transfer tests.
